Key Employment is a specialist employment service for people with a disability. We are funded by the Department of Employment Education and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) and are a Disability Employment Service. Our role is to assist people with disabilities find and maintain open employment.
We are a free service.
Our team is highly qualified and experienced and will manage all aspects of staff recruitment, job orientation and on the site training.
Key Employment provides job training and on the job support for all clients. This is a cost efficient method for employers to introduce new employees to their business. Key trainers are experienced in task analysis and breaking jobs down into steps that can then be more easily mastered by the worker.
Our Consultants have experience in accessing a wide number of programs including Supported Wages, Workplace Assessments, Workplace Modifications and DENAWS (Apprentices/Trainees) to support clients at work. Hundreds of employers have utilised the expertise of Key Employment when looking to employ skilled and unskilled staff.
Reliability, loyalty and a strong desire to contribute are qualities many people with a disability bring to the workplace. Employer feedback over many years supports the positive aspects for business when the personal attitudes of people with a disability are combined with employment specific capabilities and qualifications and appropriate training.
Key Employment has operated for 19 years and has achieved significant results for hundreds of clients. Currently we have over 600 registered clients with 315 workers including 25 people working under Supported Wages; 46 apprentices and trainees. |
