Kyle was put on my caseload after his EC finished with KE. He was severely anxious, and his mother was very concerned for his well being. I discussed with him his goals and what he wanted to do. His confidence was very low, and he was not sure his dream of being a teacher would ever be close to what he could reach. I called a local primary school and organised for him to do some Voluntary work there to build his confidence and also give him a taste of what working in a school environment was like. Fast forward to today and Kyle is working his very first paid role as a student support worker with the same school he had done this voluntary work with and he is a very different person to the anxious one I started working with 2 years ago. His Mum can’t thank me enough for helping get him to where he is today. Great Work Kyle.
“If it wasn’t for Key Employment I wouldn’t have the job I have now. I would not have had the confidence to apply for the job I did or do well in the interviews if it wasn’t for them. Key Employment isn’t scary! Just sign up with them and they will help you find a full-time or part-time job.”
“I like Key Employment because it helps you with your job seeking and career. The trainers are very helpful with all of it. It is a lot better than school and I’m looking forward to getting my career sorted.”
“I found the course to be interesting and have learnt a lot about animals. It has pointed me in the direction of my future which is looking brighter. I met new friends and highly enjoyed the trips we went on. I also loved the teacher; she is beautiful.”
“Before becoming a client of Key Employment I had tried to get a job part time. My friends were all getting jobs, but I wasn’t able to get one. I also found trying to apply for jobs on the internet hard because I am dyslexic. Thanks to Key Employment I am now employed as a kitchen hand.”
“The trainer has helped me overcome barriers by building up confident work ethics and helped me to understand being in a formal working environment. Key Training is a social environment as well as a learning environment where we are all treated equal.”
