Key Employment Coffs Harbour’s NDIS/Kikstart program is about to start their very own business. Starting tomorrow, the team will be running a market stall in the Mall from 9am-3pm. They will be selling pet rocks, plants and sucklings along with other items for your garden. NDIS Coordinator Joanna Clay will be on hand to help the students set up and deal with the public. If you are around, please visit our stall, starting tomorrow, the 12th of July in the Coffs Harbour mall.
“Now I don’t think I am below anybody. I feel different from what I used to believe. I am treated like an equal individual and my opinions are listened to with respect and courtesy.”
“It’s a great place to be to make great friendships and get along with everyone. They have a good laugh and make it fun. The teachers are chilled and not as strict. They treat us with respect and like adults.”
“Key is fun! The trainers are awesome. I’m keen to get a job.”
“Key Employment has helped me out a lot. I’m not as shy now and Key has helped me get a job and I’m more confident.”
“Before becoming a client of Key Employment I had tried to get a job part time. My friends were all getting jobs, but I wasn’t able to get one. I also found trying to apply for jobs on the internet hard because I am dyslexic. Thanks to Key Employment I am now employed as a kitchen hand.”
