Renee Chetty joined Training at Key in April 2016. She brings 10 plus years of training experience to the team. Renee grew up on the Coffs Coast and had run a very successful restaurant for 25 years, before working as a trainer, which quickly lead to a passion in the training and assessment field. She has recently completed a double Diploma in vocational education and training and training design and development.
Renee is happily married and has three children whom take up most of her free time. The family has recently purchased a local restaurant once more and all the family have roles in this business. The family spends any free time on their boat either fishing or skiing on the local waterways.
Renee loves the challenge this role brings and loves nothing better than helping the students at Key complete their studies. Creating a positive and supportive learning environment is something Training at Key excels at.
“Never stop learning because life never stops teaching,” is her favourite saying
“Before becoming a client of Key Employment I had tried to get a job part time. My friends were all getting jobs, but I wasn’t able to get one. I also found trying to apply for jobs on the internet hard because I am dyslexic. Thanks to Key Employment I am now employed as a kitchen hand.”
“This course (Training & Assessment) would be extremely difficult and complex to teach, and i thought Gerry’s manner and delivery was very helpful in such a challenging course.”
“I am treated like an equal individual and my opinions are listened to with respect and courtesy, and the people at Key Training make me feel like a valued member of the community.”
“The trainer has helped me overcome barriers by building up confident work ethics and helped me to understand being in a formal working environment. Key Training is a social environment as well as a learning environment where we are all treated equal.”
“I like KAPOW because I can do the work well and the trainers are accepting. It is better than school and is helping get me a job.”
