The Key Story
Key Employment has been finding jobs for people with disabilities since 1991 and we are widely considered the leaders in our field. In that time we have found more than 2800 jobs for our job seekers, many of who would not have worked without our support. We have placed over 500 apprentices and trainees; guided 3 people through a university degree and assisted in the set up, initial promotion and ongoing support of 28 successful small businesses. We now operate out of five offices servicing Coffs Harbour; Grafton; Yamba; Nambucca Heads and Kempsey.
IIn 1991 we had 5.5 staff and had an annual target of 18 jobs for our clients. We now number 55 and our annual target is 800 jobs.
But at Key we don't just meet targets nor do we want to be measured by them. We achieved 285 placements last year with no sacrifice to quality. Our average tenure for all of our 2000 plus jobs is over one year!! We continue to deliver excellent value services to our clients, local business and the Federal Government.
Key Employment Mission Statement
To help people with a disability find a job and keep a job. Our aim is to provide excellent quality assessment, training and recruitment services to help people with a disability get more skills, better jobs and more respect in the community.
We support people to achieve anything.
