Key’s KAPOW students are working on a mural at Park Beach Reserve with local street artist Ash Johnston.
The project is a lead-in to November Reign which will see four stages at Sawtell, Nambucca Heads and Coffs Harbour painted across four weekends in November 2015, led by Ash.
Renowned graffiti artists from around Australia and the world will descend on the Coffs Coast to contribute to the event.
“Training @ Key provided an adult learning environment with non-judgemental teaching. They take the time to explain things to me which makes me want to attend.”
“The trainer has helped me overcome barriers by building up confident work ethics and helped me to understand being in a formal working environment. Key Training is a social environment as well as a learning environment where we are all treated equal.”
“Before becoming a client of Key Employment I had tried to get a job part time. My friends were all getting jobs, but I wasn’t able to get one. I also found trying to apply for jobs on the internet hard because I am dyslexic. Thanks to Key Employment I am now employed as a kitchen hand.”
“I am treated like an equal individual and my opinions are listened to with respect and courtesy, and the people at Key Training make me feel like a valued member of the community.”
“This course (Training & Assessment) would be extremely difficult and complex to teach, and i thought Gerry’s manner and delivery was very helpful in such a challenging course.”
