Key Employment is proud of its reputation as a leading provider of disability services on the Coffs Coast for over 25 years. Our NDIS services are no exception. We are also a leading NDIS provider, offering a wide range of NDIS services. Empowering people with skills, knowledge and support is what we do best.
Our commitment to our participants is to provide a 5 star service delivering on the goals and wishes of the people we serve. Key embodies the person-centered approach with our client’s goals at the heart of everything we do.
Our SLES (School Leaver Employment Supports) program called Kikstart has been delivered on the premises for over 3 years and is an ongoing success. Our participants enjoy learning work readiness skills such as resume writing, job interview skills, employer expectations and other important life skills. We also learn to catch buses and go on fun excursions to visit work places. Supported work experience placements are the key to our success in securing paid jobs for our Kikstarters.
Our Finding and Keeping a Job clients are given 1:1 support at an intensive level on their journey into the workforce. Our commitment to providing support ‘right by their side’ has been appreciated by many who we have secured jobs for.
Plan Management and Coordination of Supports are integral services that we are happy to provide for those needing a little extra help in navigating the NDIS world.
For the fun lovers (and why not!) Key is proud to announce our suite of social activities for those looking for Social and Community inclusion. With the peace of mind of having a team of experienced support workers, our participants can enjoy the gardening club with our resident Green Thumb Matty, or join the all ages, all abilities Dizzy Feet Dance Class for movement and exercise.
Career Planners is filling up fast with enthusiastic young job hunters eager to learn about the world of employment while still at school. “It’s a great place to be to make great friendships and get along with everyone. They have a good laugh and make it fun. The teachers are chilled and not as strict. They treat us with respect and like adults.”
“Before becoming a client of Key Employment I had tried to get a job part time. My friends were all getting jobs, but I wasn’t able to get one. I also found trying to apply for jobs on the internet hard because I am dyslexic. Thanks to Key Employment I am now employed as a kitchen hand.”
“This is a necessary course for people with low esteem, life skills and self worth. There is a sense of achievement at the conclusion of the course with the added bonus of feeling that going forward is achievable.”
“If it wasn’t for Key Employment I wouldn’t have the job I have now. I would not have had the confidence to apply for the job I did or do well in the interviews if it wasn’t for them. Key Employment isn’t scary! Just sign up with them and they will help you find a full-time or part-time job.”
“I am treated like an equal individual and my opinions are listened to with respect and courtesy, and the people at Key Training make me feel like a valued member of the community.”
