Key Employment celebrated the International Day of People with Disability with the third annual PARK Life community fun day.
Despite the early rain, hundreds of members of the Coffs Coast community turned out at Brelsford Park, Coffs Harbour on 2 December 2015 to take part in fun games, pet some animals and help to raise awareness of this United Nations-backed event.
The local news cameras came down and reported on PARK Life:
“Key Employment has changed my life by getting me a job and helping me start my career. They check on my progress regularly and are always there to offer support if I need it.”
“I found the course very interesting and would recommend it to anyone who loves animals, like me 🙂 But I loved that it wasn’t all in class and we went on excursions aswell. It was awesome, I wished it went longer.”
“I like Key Employment because it helps you with your job seeking and career. The trainers are very helpful with all of it. It is a lot better than school and I’m looking forward to getting my career sorted.”
“The service I received and the training I received was the best I’d had in years. They made the whole process easy and it wasn’t difficult to ask for help when needed. Gerry is a great trainer, and all the staff were friendly & helped at all times.”
“Before becoming a client of Key Employment I had tried to get a job part time. My friends were all getting jobs, but I wasn’t able to get one. I also found trying to apply for jobs on the internet hard because I am dyslexic. Thanks to Key Employment I am now employed as a kitchen hand.”
